Filmmaking has been a lifelong passion.

From backyard movies made with a Handycam, to multi-year documentary undertakings. I have experience Directing, Assistant Directing, Producing, and Animating.

Take a look at some of my work below.

Directing

To me, directing is about facilitating successful collaboration. I love building a film piece by piece alongside the people around me. I trust my team to bring fresh perspectives and creativity, helping me shape a shared vision for the screen.

Other Directing Projects

  • Lost and Found - Short Film (2018)

  • Game Master - Short Film (2016)

  • Biohazard - Feature Film (2013)

Assistant Directing

With 10 years of experience ADing independent films, I approach each production with a calm attitude, a respectful demeanor, and clear communication. I connect with each crew member to understand how I can help them do their best work.

Assistant Directing Credits

  • Henri - Short Film (2026)

  • Blueberry Muffin Baby - Feature Film (2026)

  • Shore Up - Short Film (2026)

  • Second City Sketch Show - Pilot (2025)

  • About Time - Short Film (2023)

    …and more!

Producing

I lead Operations for the largest film festival in Chicago for several years, and brought that knowledge directly into my producing work. I’ve produced passion projects with efficiency and heart, and am always looking for more opportunities to learn more.

Current Projects:

For generations, residents of Two Harbors, MN were welcomed home by the “honking tree,” an iconic, stories-tall white pine that stood just outside of town. One foggy night in 2009, the tree was cut down, leading to sadness, anger, distrust, conspiracies, and a mystery that has remained unsolved.

This project is in Post-Production, but we are still open to hearing stories from those who knew the tree.

Animation

Some of my very first films were animated, and I find myself coming back to the medium again and again. I love to experiment, whether I’m working in digital 2D, traditional pen and paper, or stop motion. I primarily utilize Toon Boom and Dragonframe.
